Menis backstage international exhibition.
I am mentioning this project because it was very significant to me as a designer. During my three months stay as an intern at Menis, I got the unique chance of being a member of a collective project. Working together with other talented designers was a unique experience. Our collaboration taught me how to listen, brainstorm and how to make compromises that bring amazing results. With a collaborative effort, even the craziest ideas can be developed!

My Role: Creative, Designer, 3D modeling, Visual Design
Overview: I was working on an international exhibition (during my internship at Menis Studio in 2018). Inspired by the beauty of the island of Tenerife and its nature we prepared the creative Installation. The exhibition was a 5x5x5 meter Black Box, it showed Fernandos Menis's working and designing process.
Our design journey:
# The design process consisted of many experiments and studies.
# We developed a few ideas, sketching, 3D modeling, and creating real-life mockups.
# We collaborated closely with other designers, manufacturers, museums and sponsors.
3D Models. Analysis of the existing exhibition space and developing first ideas.
First real-life mockups. Trying new materials and layers. Inspired by the islands nature we wanted to create different experiences for the visitors - using different natural materials like stone, volcanic rock, and wood.
Light experiments. Trying new materials and light effects. Testing all ideas.
